Gordon Hayward is out of the boot
Earlier this morning we talked about Gordon Hayward's future, as well as a potential return this season,. Today, he took a big step in the right direction, as he's now ditched the walking boot on his surgically repaired ankle. Gordon attended an event with the Boys and Girls Club in Roxbury, walking on both feet with no boot:

ESPN's Chris Forsberg reports that while Hayward is out of the boot, it'll be a test over the next week or so to see how his ankle reacts to the change as to whether or not it stays off:

There's still a long road ahead for Hayward's rehab and recovery, but here's to hoping that boot is gone for good!
