CLPod 038: The Celts - and the NBA - get off to a rough start

NBA basketball has returned to our lives, but Gordon Hayward (and quite a few other players) won't be on the court for a while.

This week, Topher Lane and Justin Quinn break down Hayward's injury and what it means for the Boston Celtics' future, as well as offering up their theories on what could be behind the unusually high number of early-season non-contact injuries that is currently plaguing the league. They break down the first week's action, and take a little solace in the demise of the evil emperor after news Louisville and former Celtics coach (and GM) Rick Pitino is canned with just cause in a federal fraud case involving kickbacks to families of NCAA recruits. The season isn't even 10 days old and it's already been a roller coaster of a ride, so buckle up - we've got a long way to go, folks.
