PawSox to celebrate "Kyrie Irving Night" at McCoy Stadium tonight

The Pawtucket Red Sox are celebrating the Boston Celtics newest addition tonight at McCoy Stadium by declaring tonights game "Kyrie Irving Night":

Expect a packed house at McCoy as the General Admission tickets will be free to anyone donning Celtics gear or the color green. The festivities will include all kinds of Celtics themed giveaways and that's not even the best part - there's going to be a Cavaliers fan rocking a LeBron James jersey in a dunk tank outside the stadium.

PawSox Executive Vice President & General Manager Dan Rea said that they felt the addition of Kyrie Irving to the Celtics should be heralded. Via MILB.com:

"We know how popular the Boston Celtics are throughout the area," said PawSox Executive Vice President & General Manager, Dan Rea, "and we hope that our fans will enjoy an evening that trumpets Kyrie Irving's arrival."

Considering the PawSox are essentially giving away the tickets at the door this is a really cool gesture on their part. The game against the Buffalo Bisons (the Toronto Blue Jays farm team) has a 7:05 start but the celebration before the game goes from 6-7.

Although it's free admission for most folks, if you dress accordingly, some people will have to pay up if their name happens to mirror any of the Celtics', as well as Irving's, current nemesis:

So be sure to tell all your buddies named Lonzo and LeBron they might wanna sit this one out.
