Paul Pierce's retirement ceremony scheduled for February 11th vs Cleveland
There were rumors recently floating around about when the Celtics would raise Paul Pierce's number 34 to the rafters. Celtics' fans anxiously waiting the news were given the details today:

Pierce spent 15 seasons in Boston where he averaged 21.8 points per game, while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out 3.9 assists. The 2008 Finals MVP recently signed a one day contract with Boston, to official retire a Celtic.
Pierce ranks second all-time in total points scored as a member of the Celtics, as well as first in free throws made, three-point field goals made, and steals.
