Former Cleveland GM David Griffin believes the Celtics-Cavs deal will go through
The Cleveland Cavaliers previous general manager, David Griffin, went on Sirius XM's Above The Rim earlier today and said that he believes that the deal that currently sits in limbo between the Boston Celtics and the Cavs will go through:

Griffin went as far as saying that the Cavs new GM, Koby Altman, got a great deal for his disgruntled star in Kyrie Irving from the Celtics. He noted the big time bargain that Jae Crowder is based on his inexpensive contract and the "value to production" he provides from the deal that he's locked into for another three seasons.
Although Griffin said he believes the deal is great regardless of Isaiah Thomas' health at the start of the season, he does mention that the Cavaliers clearly must be concerned because there's no other reason this deal hasn't been fully processed.
Justin Quinn and I discussed the delayed deal at length of the very latest CLPod, with each of us having different thoughts on the potential reasons for the hold-up so be sure to check that out:
