Former Celtic Vander Blue signs partially-guaranteed deal with Lakers

Vander Blue, who was signed by the Boston Celtics briefly after going undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, has signed a partially-guaranteed deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

It seems likely this is mostly sweetener to keep Blue in the fold for the final regular-season roster spot, though details are still unclear. Blue was last season's NBA G-League MVP, logging 24.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.6 steals with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the Laker's G-League team, and his strong play in Summer League suggests he may have finally fought his way back into the league.
