Report: Rubio traded from Wolves to Jazz; may impact Hayward's FA
Per ESPN's Marc Stein and the Salt Lake City Tribune's Tony Jones, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio has been traded to the Utah Jazz.
The Jazz, who had reportedly been working on a solution to fill the starting point guard position with considerable concern veteran George Hill would decamp, potentially influencing free agent Gordon Hayward's decision-making in free agency as well. While certainly a competent one in the NBA, Rubio is a step down from Hill. However, it remains to be seen what other moves the Jazz may make, given they used cap space to take Rubio on that would disappear with the start of free agency July 1.
The Jazz will send Minnesota its 2018 pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder, lottery protected.

Don't believe it's enough. More worried about what that snake Pat Riley will do in his meeting w/ Hayward. Miami the bigger threat imo https://t.co/ru1QVN79k5— CelticsLife.com (@CelticsLife) June 30, 2017
