Kelly Olynyk Show, Isaiah gets 29/12, Horford and Smart help Celtics clinch ECF (videos)
Kelly Olynyk played probably the best game of his career in what will be known as the "Kelly Olynyk Game" as the Boston Celtics took down Washington Wizards and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. Olynyk got 26 points on the night, including 14 points in the fourth quarter when he hit big shot after big shot. What a night for Kelly! Olynyk just put on a clinic!
Isaiah Thomas finished the game with a double-double of 29 points and 12 assists for the Celtics. Thomas played great in the second half, scoring 17 points (6-for-12 from the field, 3-for-3 from deep) and disihing out six dimes (with no turnovers). Another big game for the Little Guy who now will have a chance to compete against LeBron in Eeastern Confernece Finals
Al Horford was once again solid against this Wizards squad, finishing one of his best playoff series in career with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. Big Al came up huge when it matters and he's been just great this postseason. Hopefully this trend continues in a matchup against Cavs.
Marcus Smart finally had Marcus Smart type of game in this year's playoffs, posting 13 points, six rebounds, four dimes and two blocks on the night. Smart made some big plays throughout the game and finished with team-high plus-14 in 30 minutes of play.
Jaylen Brown played some solid minutes off the bench as he got nine points and three rebounds in 20 minutes of play. Brown himself outscored Wizards bench, making some great shots. He was plus-8 on the night.
