Orlando Magic may be targeting Olynyk, Jerebko in free agency

Perhaps jealous of all the attention the Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks have been getting, the Orlando Magic have recently decided to wade a little further into the "poorly run franchise" pool.


Already in pretty deep after trading away one of the league's better collections of assets for Terrence Ross, CJ Wilcox, Jared Cunningham, a first round pick, two second round picks, a pick swap, and some cash, the Magic decided they needed to show the entire world their summer plans by letting the agent of Patricio Garino snap a photo of the contract he was signing with Orlando.

Oops.

It's debatable whether this is really representative of the Magic's actual summer plans - they have since downplayed the certainty of any listed plans as tentative and partial - but Boston Celtics fans should note Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko's names are on their list of free agent targets. This should probably come as no surprise, given the Celtics' plans for chasing a max-level contract free agent this summer with little cap room to spare for players like Kelly and Jonas, should the target they want sign on the dotted line.

You can be sure it won't be photographed in front of a whiteboard if it does happen, though.
