Bradley (hamstring) and Horford (elbow) out Sunday night in Phoenix

The Celtics will be without two of their starters in the second game of their West Coast road trip against the Phoenix Suns today. Avery Bradley is out with a hammy issue and Al Horford will be sidelined due to an elbow injury:

Luckily, Bradley's injury is not related to his recent Achilles injury that held him out of the lineup for 22 of the Celtics' last 26 games. Horford's elbow sprain doesn't appear to be a long-term issue, but his possible return date is still very cloudy right now:

This could be an issue with the Celtics visiting the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors this week. Considering that the Clippers matchup is a back-to-back tomorrow night, perhaps Brad Stevens is just being cautious. In fact, the plan all along was to rest Bradley for one of the games so it would make sense to give him the day off against the 20-42 Suns rather than the 37-25 Clippers.

Jaylen Brown and Jonas Jerebko will replace Bradley and Horford in the starting lineup. Catch today's game at a peculiar 5pm (Eastern time) tip-off.
