Countdown to the trade deadline - Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor has taken a step back in his second year, making him a potential target for a trade with the Boston Celtics.

Let me walk that back a bit. Okafor, currently with the Philadelphia 76ers, has seen his minutes dip by nearly a third on a team that can't be very inspiring to play for with a 6 - 18 record, and has to compete against the likely rookie of the year Joel Embiid for playing time while waiting for Nerlens Noel and Ben Simmons to soon return and further clog an already overcrowded frontcourt. To make matters worse, the quintessential old-school big finds the league moving away from his style of play, with his game relegated to second units.

It's no secret that Jahlil has been on the block for some time now, and there doesn't seem to be many (if any) takers at the price Philadelphia's management seems to want for the young center. But that doesn't mean that Okafor, who has been connected to the Celtics in more than one trade rumor, couldn't work out if the deal (and his role) were right. The 76ers seem to want to retain Noel and Simmons, so if Boston were to wait it out, it might lead to the right kind of deal getting done.

So, we turn to you, the reader, to spitball some ideas for trade packages and usage in the comment section here or on Twitter, and your opinion on the deal itself and the package's potential composition in the Twitter polls below. Don't be shy! We'll use your comments in the follow-up article later this week if they are especially insightful (or funny), so be sure to speak your mind.
