Celtics bringing Tom Brady to the meeting with Kevin Durant
The Boston Celtics are sending in the cavalry for their meeting with Kevin Durant today, via Abby Chin of CSNNE:
— Abby Chin (@tvabby) July 2, 2016Tom Brady, with four NFL Superbowl rings, is a New England legend. It would only make sense to bring him in to talk about the atmosphere of winning in New England. If Red Sox slugger David Ortiz didn't have a game in Boston today, I'm sure he would be there too.
UPDATE:
It's been confirmed that Tom Brady is going to be at the meeting with Durant, and many sports fans, including non-New England fans are upset. But Brian Robb has some words for those fans:
