Woj reports Celtics on short list of teams that will get a meeting with Kevin Durant

ESPN's Marc Stein sent out this tweet on Friday evening:

However, a short time later the all-knowing Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports published a piece containing the following:

Also from Wojnarowski's report:

Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant is planning to host free-agency meetings at a singular location starting July 1, league sources told The Vertical.
The meetings are expected to take place in New York, but teams are still awaiting word on a location.
Several teams that have interest in Durant – the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and Washington Wizards – could still find audiences with him, but appear to be outsiders in the process now.

Durant is planning to leave on a publicity tour in the Far East on July 9, and a decision is expected before the departure date, league sources said.

The night before the draft, Isaiah Thomas went on Sirius XM NBA Radio and reiterated that he thinks the C's have a real chance to land KD.  Via Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston, Thomas said:

We definitely have a shot. I know that for sure. And I’m just trying to reach out when I can and stay in his ear a little bit here and there. I know it’s a tough time for him because everybody’s probably trying to reach out and get him to go where they want him to go. But my relationship with him is real genuine, and hopefully I can get him to come to Boston and we can bring Banner 18 here.
And if you win in Boston you’ll be loved forever. So that’s the only thing I can tell him. I keep it real short and genuine, keep it real with him. Boston is one of the best cities that I’ve ever been a part of.

It's a long shot, but the next couple weeks should be quite entertaining.
