Even with Ainge & Co. adding some frontcourt depth in the draft last week, being rumored to be in hot pursuit of Al Horford, and taking a meeting with Dwight Howard, the Celtics are tendering qualifying offers to Zeller and Sullinger, according to league sources.
This could be the Celtics simply hedging their bets or this could be a sign that target free agents aren't as high on Boston as Celtics fans would like them to be. We'll know more on Thursday when Free Agency 2016 officially kicks off.
