Brad Stevens switching it up big time for Game 3 vs Hawks
Turner, Jerebko to start in place of Smart, Sullinger. Olynyk still out.— Bill Doyle (@BillDoyle15) April 22, 2016
Let's see if this lineup can get the Celtics off to a better start. That 24-3 deficit in Game 2 was a bit tough to recover from.
It's a shame that Kelly Olynyk can't go.
Kelly Olynyk's availability is "ultimately his call" based on how he feels according to Stevens. Coach said big man would play if he could.— Jay King (@ByJayKing) April 22, 2016
So Jonas Jerebko will be playing the role of Kelly Olynyk tonight. Let's see if the Swedish Larry Bird can hit some bombs to get the crowd into it. On the bright side, this starting lineup crushed it in the extremely limited time they played together:
Tonight's starting lineup played just 17 mins during reg season...but had a stoopid Net Rating of +48.6, so there's that #CelticsTalk— Max Lederman (@Max_Lederman) April 22, 2016
The second unit seems like it's going to need RJ Hunter, as a Rozier/Smart/Sullinger/Zeller foursome is not going to be able to shoot. Although Rozier seems like he's got a 14 point, 8 rebound, 6 assists out of the blue game in there somewhere. The man is a human pogo stick.
It's going to come down to putting the ball in the hole tonight. Let's hope the Celtics can turn it around with some home cooking. Game tips off at 8PM.
