Erie Bayhawks Twitter account for the win
This past Thursday, the Celtics sent Jordan Mickey, James Young and Coty Clarke to Maine for some game action in the D-League. The official announcement came on Twitter late that afternoon:
It must be a pretty annoying feeling for your average Joe D-Leaguer to arrive at the arena on game night only to find out you'll be going up against three NBA players. The Erie Bayhawks response to the Maine Red Claws announcement nailed this sentiment perfectly:
Maine won big, 111-95, and Mickey, Young and Clarke were all back in Boston the next day.
Sidebar--I wish the @Celtics account would have a little more fun (maybe play around with that new GIF search button?) and not just tweet stuffy sounding things like "The Boston Celtics have assigned Coty Clarke, Jordan Mickey and James Young to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League."
