New NBA mock draft released; Six of the projected Top 10 in action on Saturday

NEW MOCK DRAFT released a new mock draft in which they project the Celtics to use their three 2016 first-round picks on the following players: with the 3rd pick, Dragan Bender (7'0 PF, Croatia); with the 19th pick, Henry Ellenson (6'10 PF/C, Marquette); and my favorite, with the 23rd pick, Dwayne Bacon (6'7 SG, Florida State).

With a full day of college basketball on Saturday, many projected lottery picks were in action. Here is a rundown of how they all performed:

Ben Simmons (6'10 PF, projected #1): played 40 minutes in LSU's big win over Texas A&M. He shot 4 of 11 from the field, 8 of 9 from the free-throw line and finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.

Brandon Ingram (6'9 SF, projected #2): played 38 huge minutes in Duke's win over Virginia, who was ranked 7th entering the game. Ingram shot 10 of 22 from the field, 4 of 9 from three and finished with 25 points and 7 rebounds.

Kris Dunn (6'4 PG, projected #4): played 37 minutes in Providence's win over Georgetown. He shot 5 of 11 from the field, made 10 free throws and finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.

Buddy Hield (6'4 SG, projected #5): played 37 minutes in Oklahoma's loss to Kansas. He shot 5 of 15 from the floor, but all of his makes were threes, and made 9 of 10 free throws, to finish with 24 points and 4 rebounds.

Jaylen Brown (6'7 SG/SF, projected #6) and Ivan Rabb (6'10 PF, projected #9): Brown played 30 minutes and Rabb 24 minutes in California's win over Oregon State. Brown finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, while Rabb finished with 3 points and 8 rebounds.

Jamal Murray (6'4 PG/SG, projected #8): played 38 minutes in Kentucky's blowout win over South Carolina. He shot 9 of 21 from the field, 4 of 11 from three and finished with 26 points and 5 rebounds.
