Boston gets revenge, defeats the Nets 103-94

Well that's better. Boston showed inspired play on defense and drove hard to the paint. It resulted in a relatively easy 103-94 win against Brooklyn. The Nets tried to make a run late, but Boston finished it off.

The Celtics split the season series with the Nets at two apiece with both teams winning and losing on their own courts. Not exactly a good thing for Boston but a win is a win. Boston had 54 points in the paint compared to Brooklyn's 40 points. They also shot 44.6 percent from the floor compared to the Nets' 37.6 percent.

For Boston, Jae Crowder had a hell of a game with 25 points and six rebounds, Isaiah Thomas had 19 points and seven assists, Evan Turner had 12 points and 11 rebounds and Jared Sullinger had 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

For Brooklyn, Thaddeus Young had 23 points and 15 rebounds, Joe Johnson had 21 points and six rebounds and Brook Lopez scored 19 points.

The Celtics (19-15) next face a team fighting for a playoff spot like they are in the Pistons Wednesday.
