Celtics have won 8 of last 9 road games dating back to last season
After invading Milwaukee and putting an absolute beating on the Bucks last night, the Celtics have won 8 of their last 9 road games dating back to last season. Sean Grande posted that stat on Twitter last night, and is always good for an interesting stat postgame.
The Celtics have won 8 of 9 on the road. It’s just the 7th time in the last 30 years that's happened.
The other 6 were all from 2007-10.

What makes it even more impressive is that the lone loss was the C's recent trip through Indiana, where they had a chance to win it at the buzzer. While the Celtics did it 6 times during the Big 3 era, those teams had 3, maybe 4, players who were better than anyone that this Celtics team has.
Also worth noting, Grande's stat says it is the 7th time in the last 30 years. That would include 1986-87 Celtics, who finished the regular season with 59 wins and made the NBA Finals.
Nice, a trip to the Finals is a lock. That's a load off my mind.
