Boston Celtics 118 - Washington Wizards 98 highlights and box score
The Boston Celtics put a stop to a 3 game skid with a 20 point blowout win over the Washington Wizards at the TD Garden on Friday night.
Jared Sullinger turned in what commentator Mike Gorman thought was his best performance in a Celtics uniform, leading the team in scoring with 21 points and filling the stat sheet with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal.
"Grand Theft Crowder" doesn't sound as good as "Grand Theft Rondo," but someone needs to think of a good catchphrase for Jae after he notched 5 steals to go along with a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds). Crowder left the game in the 4th quarter after colliding with Kelly Oubre, and his injury was later assessed as a knee bruise.
Kelly Olynyk contributed 19 points off the bench, and also had a +/- rating of +29.
Gino graced the TD Garden's Jumbotron for the first time this season, and unfortunately we didn't get to see the newcomers' reactions. I'm curious to see if they enjoyed Gino Time as much as Shaq the first time he was introduced to it.
