Jahlil Okafor drops his 76ers jersey, let the trade rumors begin

Looks like former Duke center Jahlil Okafor isn't too pumped up to be joining the Philadelphia 76ers and their stable of bigs. Who can blame the kid for being disappointed though? When you're tied to reports of being selected by the two best teams in basketball history all week and then land in Philly, that's like taking a solid punch to the jejunem.

This obviously sparked quite the reaction on twitter, and has some naive fans thinking he'll still be on his way to a different team via trade. But any realist knows if that was going to happen, it likely would've happened on draft night. If Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski says that they're not going to deal him, they're not going to deal him. So let's not get too wrapped up in the madness about the jersey drop.

For now it looks like the Sixers are going to keep Okafor. Philly fans who bought a draft night Okafor jersey had better hope so, or they'll be doing the same thing with their jerseys as Jahlil did with his above.
