Thomas was 3rd in East in scoring (22.0) and T-7th in assists (6.5) as Celts went 3-1.

As well as averaging 22 points and 6.5 assists, Thomas made 6.5 free throws per game while shooting 89.7 percent at the foul line.
It's quite an impressive achievement considering he never started and played just 28.6 minutes a night. Thomas is the first Celtic to win the award this season. Last year both Jared Sullinger and Jordan Crawford took home the honors.
