This is the 5th time the Celtics have played before a Patriots Super Bowl. (1986, 2002, 2005, 2012).
They've won all four.

Grande is also reporting that Tyler Zeller will get the start today over Jared Sullinger as Sully was late to a team shootaround this morning. Stevens says it's no big deal but certainly not a good look and Stevens sends a clear message to young team.

Stevens' message seems clear and familiar. Do Your Job. Speaking of that, you'd be pissed if your job forced you to miss the Super Bowl right? Suppose it'd be different if you were a professional basketball player making six to seven figures though. Nonetheless, there were likely to be some moans and groans if the Celtics were forced to miss the big game due to weather conditions, which was a real possibility given Monday's impending storm, as reported by A.Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.
C’s will fly to New York Sunday. Before or after Super Bowl? Stevens said he’ll conference with noted Patriots fan Gerald Wallace.

Emily Austen of Celtics.com is also reporting Dwayne Wade and Luol Deng will both be sidelined for the Heat today. Wade has another hamstring issue, while Deng is nursing a calf injury. No wonder the Celtics are favorites!
Enjoy today's games everyone!
