Including last night's OT win, Sully's been ripping the nets from the arc
Last night, Boston finally got over the hump in a close game largely as a result of two big Jared Sullinger threes in overtime. Emily Austen reports:
Sully was 2-4 from the game from the arc and has been ripping the nets from three over his last nine games beginning with the deflating 122-121 loss to Cleveland on November 14th.
In these nine games Boston is just 2-7 but Sullinger is a combined 20-45 (44.4%) from the arc. During that stretch Sully has also been averaging 17.7 points and 8.2 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game.
Sullinger shot the ball extremely well from deep in preseason and it's nice to see Brad Stevens faith in the big man's ability to knock down the ball from distance start to pay dividends.
