LeBron James is taking his talents to Disney.

Per official press release
An additional 5:30 p.m. telecast of "Becoming," a special about worldwide basketball star LeBron James' trajectory to the top of his game, has been added as a "sneak play" to the SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26 schedule on Disney XD. It will also be presented in the previously announced 8:00 p.m. timeslot on Disney XD and on Friday, November 7 (7:00 p.m., ET/4:00 p.m., PT) on ESPN.

Filmed in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, "Becoming" includes rarely seen footage from LeBron James' earliest days in sports, including the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) where he played youth basketball for the Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars, as well as his record-setting days at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School where he garnered worldwide attention. James, along with those close to him, including lifelong friends, mentors, teammates and former coaches, will share candid memories with his young fans during the special.

Produced in association with ESPN Films and LeBron James' Springhill Production Company, "Becoming" is executive-produced by James and Maverick Carter, along with John Dahl, Libby Geist and Connor Schell, the creative team behind ESPN's Peabody and Emmy Award-winning "30 for 30" series. Gentry Kirby and Erin Leyden are the producers.

So the inevitable has happened: LeBron is extending his business empire into Hollywood.

Is this the first step to him having his own version of Space Jam but with Disney? I can just see it now: LeBron teaching Mickey how to crossover fools, showing Goofy how to do those nasty run down blocks on his opponents and I bet Kevin Hart will make an appearance just like Bill Murray did in the original.

Will any of you be tuning in to watch "Becoming"?
