The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in preseason action on Monday night by a 98-78 margin. Brandon Bass and Evan Turner led the team in scoring with 15 points each, while Kelly Olynyk and Marcus Thornton each chipped in 14 points.

Jared Sullinger was the top rebounder of the night with 13 boards, and Marcus Smart and Evan Turner tied for the most assists with 6 a piece.
