Is Avery Bradley bananas? Celtics guard boastful in predictions for Celtics season

Ok, Avery Bradley is not bananas. He's just a confident fellow.

via Chris Forsberg, ESPNBoston:
"I can’t even [put it into words], you guys just have to see," said Bradley. "A lot of people might say that, 'We can’t be this, we can’t be that.' I feel like with the coach that we have, we can be anything that we want to be. We just have to listen to [Brad Stevens] and buy into what he’s trying to do, his plan for us. I feel like we have a chance to make the playoffs and make a lot of noise this year if we listen to Brad."

Mark it down, the Boston Celtics will be in the playoff hunt in 2015.

Certainly, the Celtics will be very set defensively at the guard position with Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and rookie Marcus Smart. Of course, they have other players on the roster too who aren't exactly known for their defense.

Coach Brad Stevens has always had an emphasis on the defensive side of the ball though and if the Celtics are able to stay in contention towards later in the year, that'll likely be the reason. However, if the Celtics are able to stay in contention towards later in the year, is a pretty huge if.

That would take a return to super star form for Rajon Rondo. Entering a contract year, that's not out of the realm of possibility for him I suppose.

Avery Bradley did reveal that he worked out with future teammate(?) Evan Turner this offseason. So there's that.
