Celtics invite former Penn State point guard Tim Frazier to training camp
The twitter account for Penn State's basketball team sent out this message last night:
Congrats to @psufraz23 on joining the #Celtics for training camp. Way to stay #relentless!

Tim Frazier is a 6'1" point guard who averaged 14.9 points and 5.4 assists per game as a fifth-year senior for the Nittany Lions last season. Frazier is the school's all-time assist leader, and he also played with the 76ers summer league squad last month.
Typical of the point guards on the Celtics roster, Frazier is a very poor three-point shooter; he hit just 29.1% of his attempts from beyond the arc last year.
Don't expect to see the undrafted 23-year-old actually suit up for Boston, but he could well spend time with the D-League Maine Red Claws.
