Report: Kris Humphries on verge of being signed-and-traded to Wizards for trade exception
According to Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, the Celtics and Wizards are close to agreeing to a trade that will send Kris Humphries to the Wiz. Hump will reportedly sign a three year deal as part of the deal.

As for what the Celtics will receive? It looks like they'll pick up a trade exception, likely a $4-4.5 million one (whatever Hump's year one salary is).
In the in-the-works Kris Humphries deal, the Wizards would be using part of their trade exception they received in the Trevor Ariza deal.

While the deal is not done yet, this is a perfect fit for both Humphries and the Celtics. Hump gets to go to a contender and should thrive as the third big man in their rotation (a role Hump was born for with his energy/rebounding). The Celtics on the other hand get a nice little trade exception, something that could come in handy some time in the next year (Boston just grabbed both Tyler Zeller and a first round pick with the Paul Pierce exception).
Not going to lie though, while this makes all the sense in the world, a part of me is sad. I loved Hump. True pro, worked his ass off, brought energy, never complained and played pretty damn well. Good bye sweet prince.
Update: The Woj has spoken.
