Brandon Bass hopes Celtics lock up Chris Johnson for rest of season
Brandon Bass has been impressed enough with Chris Johnson's play that he hopes the Celtics offer him a contract for the rest of the season:
Johnson's numbers have been quite impressive in his six games with the C's.
In 25 mpg Johnson is shooting over 40 percent from three and is averaging just under 10 pts per.
More importantly he is providing a much needed spark off the bench in the absence of Jerryd Bayless.
Celtic fans should not be surprised by Johnson's success, however, especially from deep.
His senior year at Dayton, two seasons ago, he shot just under forty percent from three as well as over 86 percent from the line.
Teams are always looking for three point specialists so whether or not he stays with Boston Johnson could potentially have a nice long career in the league.
