Paul Pierce gives NBA $15,000 for Xmas after Dwyane Wade impression
With frustrations boiling over for the 9-18 Nets, they've turned to the two-time defending champs, The Miami Heat, for inspiration to turn their season around.
That is to say, they're committing obvious dirty plays like Dwyane Wade.
It didn't work. The Nets lost and are still terrible.
Anyway, as a Pierce fan I think I speak for all of us when I say I'm a little bit embarassed by the above. That clothesline really isn't called for, and while I love McHale's clothesline as much as anyone, I still have to say this doesn't have a place in the game. It seemed like it was more like he was letting his frustrations with his own team get the best of him and he took it all out on poor George Hill.
Pierce was ejected from the game with a flagrant 2 foul and then today was fined $15,000 by the NBA. So, I guess he's learned his lesson?
