Deron Williams to return to Nets lineup on Tuesday vs Celtics

Last spring Jason Kidd ended his playing career on a 10 game scoreless streak, missing the final 18 shots he took from the field.  So far his coaching career has been even worse.  Ranging from the ridiculous drink spilling antics, to his clash with assistant coach Lawrence Frank, to last night's 30 point home loss to the lowly Knicks, it's been a very tough season for Kidd and the 5-14 Nets.

But now they finally have a bit of good news, as ESPN New York is reporting that point guard Deron Williams will return to the court on December 10th vs Boston.  Williams has missed the last 8 games (and 10 overall) with a sprained left ankle, and the Nets are 2-8 in his absence.

It what is likely a disappointment to fans of both squads, Paul Pierce will still be out of action for Tuesday's contest with a broken hand.
