Andrew Bynum rips Lakers fans in his Cavs press conference

The Lakers are low hanging fruit these days, aren't they? The team is coming off one of the most disappointing seasons in league history, Kobe is injured, Dwight is in Houston and they may not even be a safe bet to make the playoffs in an improved Western Conference.

It seems like nothing is going LA's way, and former center Andrew Bynum apparently recognized that, sending a subtle shot to his former fans during his introductory press conference with the Cavaliers. Here's what Bynum had to say about his new fans in Cleveland to Fox Sports, transcribed by Beyond the Buzzer.

“I just know that they’re really, really passionate and I haven’t had the opportunity to play for a city that is really just gonna stand up and really support the team, I’m super excited and I can’t wait to see what it’s like.”

Of course, Bynum has also been a member of the 76ers organization, but considering he never even took the court with Philly it's safe to say he's ripping on the Lakers and their fans here.

To me this would mean a lot more coming from someone who I actually respected. Not Bynum, who has spent more time at the bowling alley and driving around his neighborhood at 200 mph pissing off his neighbors than he has on the basketball court over the past year. With that said, I'm sure Lakers fans aren't thrilled to be kicked while they're down.
