Jason Collins marches in Boston's Gay Pride Parade

The city of Boston's 43rd annual gay pride parade took place today on a warm sunny afternoon; marching down Boylston St, through the South End, past the Common, and finishing in Government Center at City Hall Plaza.  Among the participants was former Celtics center Jason Collins.  While in town Collins also stopped by Fenway Park on Thursday night to throw out the first pitch at the Red Sox game.

After being dealt from Boston to Washington at this year's trade deadline, Collin's is now a free agent.  When he signs somewhere this offseason, it's going to be of much greater significance than the average acquisition of a 34 year old backup center.
