Doc Rivers blockbuster trade might not include Eric Bledsoe, but could include Paul Pierce
Long time NBA writer Mark Heisler has tweeted out some insight on the pending blockbuster trade between the Celtics and Clippers. The talks stalled yesterday when the Clippers refused to include Eric Bledsoe in the deal, however, things have apparently picked up again today.
This also aligns with some recent reports from Adrian Wojnarowski where he says that the Celtics might be willing to move off of their pursuit for Eric Bledsoe.

I don't think Danny Ainge should come down on his high asking price. The Celtics have to get Bledsoe in this deal, especially if they are going to part with their two best players and coach. This reminds me a bit of when Danny Ainge tried to trade Perkins for James Harden, but then settled on Jeff Green.
What are your thoughts? Does Bledsoe absolutely have to be included in this deal for you?
This just in: Truth is in the proposal they're working on w/KG. May mean #Celtics take Caron w/1 year at $8M, plus whoever else

Nothing definitive on this but I don't think Bledsoe's going to #Celtics. #Clippers were dead-set on keeping him over weekend.

Specifics dodgy at this point. What I know: Talks warming up. KG, PP now in proposall. #Celtic owners fine w/not paying Doc $7M to rebuild.

Discussions over a blockbuster deal reached an impasse on Saturday when Boston general manager Danny Ainge held firm that Bledsoe had to be a part of package that included DeAndre Jordan and a first-round pick, but sources say that Boston has shown a willingness to find another asset to supplant Bledsoe and complete the complicated deal, sources said
