This news comes as a bit of a surprise. Last we heard Rondo was still shopping around looking at doctors, getting more opinions, and decided on the proper course of action to repair/heal his "partially" torn ACL. Not surprising at all is his choice of surgeon. Dr. James Andrews may have actually gotten a law passed stating that all high profile athletes must have their ACL's operated on by him and no one else. And that he can only ever be referred to as "Doctor James Andrews;" I wonder if his wife calls him that?
