The Captain is as healthy as he's going to be for the rest of the season

Paul Pierce is one tough SOB, the fact that he’s playing through a pinched nerve is unreal to me. I kind of wish this information would have come out after the season just to see everyone bash Pierce and say he’s washed up and all done. Although he’s making just 41.9% of his field goals (he’s a career 44.6% shooter) it’s still impressive the amount of perseverance and toughness he’s displaying. This injury is going to be plaguing him the rest of the year, so this is as healthy as he’s going to be. The Captain is leading by example and playing through the pain, showing the young fellas how it works. I applaud Pierce even though his up-and-down play can be frustrating, we have to take it with a grain of salt because he’s playing through a significant injury that would sideline most guys.
