Celtics meet with Greg Oden

On the day after learning that former Ohio State forward Jared Sullinger was lost for the season, the Celtics spoke with another Buckeye big man trying to make an NBA comeback.  Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald has confirmed that the Celtics met with Greg Oden today.  Here are his quotes from team President Danny Ainge:

We wanted to talk to Greg to see where he is physically. We're just finding out as much as we can and letting Greg know what we have here. He's not ready to play now, but he's someone who's very interesting.

Ainge also denied reports that Oden was not interested in Boston:

I haven't heard that. If it was true, then why would he fly in to speak with us?
