It's Official: The Darko Era is over



 And so, the Darko Milicic era ends in Boston.

“Darko has asked us to release him so he could deal with a personal matter,” said Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge. “The whole Celtics family wishes Darko and his family well.”

Well that was a disappointment. Darko had a decent preseason and raised our hopes for his contributions this season, but clearly they did not pan out the way we wanted it to. Cross off Boston on the list of "Teams that could get Darko to contribute".
