A Look back: Rajon Rondo versus the Chicago Bulls

A look back on Rajon Rondo's emergence as an impact player in this league, where in the first round of the 2009 NBA Playoffs he showed us just how good he could be. Taking on a rising bulls team with Derrick Rose (ROY and #1 overall pick), Rajon Rondo led the Kevin Garnett-less Celtics to victory in 7 games. Over those 7 games, Rondo averaged 19.4 points, 11.6 assists, and 9.3 rebounds. It was an amazing all-around series from him, and he really gave the NBA world a kick in the butt, announcing his "arrival". I hope we can all remember just how special of a player Rondo was even when he was younger, and how hes really refined that talent since. How well do you remember this series? Will Rondo's performance stick with you for a while? Sound off in the comments.
