Stiemsma withdraws from USA Select Team
Greg Stiemsma has withdrawn from the 2012 USA Men's Select Team that will train against the USA Baksetball Men's National Team.No reason given, but we'll update this post when we find out why Stiemsma has withdrawn. For the record, I was never a big fan of Stiemsma playing this Summer. I thought it would be better for him to rest his ailing feet. The Stiemsma we saw lumbering around in the playoffs was not the Stiemsma we saw during the regular season.

Lin told USA Basketball he withdrew because of uncertain contract status; Stiemsma out because of plantar fasciitis in left foot.As expected, Stiemsma's feet were the reason for his withdrawal.
