Let's freaking do this

There is nothing like a game 7 in Beantown. I plan a trip every Memorial Day weekend to Boston hoping to see a Celtics playoff game. While I would've liked to see them close out Philly in Game 6, a part of me is glad they lost( a small part), so I get to be around the madness that is the Garden during a close out game.

I was at the Magic-Celtics ECF game 6 with fellow CelticsLife writers JR and Three Toe two years ago when we closed out the Magic. I remember chanting Beat LA in the waning seconds and thinking this is one of the top 5 moments of my life.

Unfortunately win or lose this won't be the same feeling. It will be more a sense of relief of getting by this pesky Philly team. Philly isn't your typical 8 seed. They have a lot of solid players, but the Celtics should've closed this out in 5. You can make all the excuses in the world, but Boston has flat out not come to play in a few games this series. I expect more from this team.

I'm tired of seeing Spencer Hawes's ugly face. I'm tired of hearing the name Iguodala. I'm tired of hearing Doug Collins's weak pep talks( I respect him as a coach though). I'm tired of this series.  Let's close this out tonight with a beat down of epic proportions so I can relax for a day before Tickle me Elbow Lebron comes to town.

For those of you in Boston tonight come to Boston Beer Works by the Garden and cheer on the C's with me. I'll be the ginger with the Grand Theft Rondo shirt on. We need all of you out there tonight. Bleeding Green for life.
