Doc won't sit Ray Allen
"Not yet," Rivers told reporters later in the day when asked about a potential move. "We're good. Ray is Ray. We're going to just keep rolling him out there and see what we can get. When we feel like he can't give it to us, we'll go with someone else. But I think right now, you have to give Ray a fighting chance."
Ray Allen has been a shell of his former self. He can't make shots, he can't even make free throws. It's hurting this team immensely. The Celtics are undermanned, banged up and thin. They really don't have much of a choice here with Avery Bradley also out. Do you turn to Mickael Pietrus?
Ray Allen and this team might go down. But if they do, they'll all go together and they'll go down fighting.
