Pierce and KG to sit out tonight's game
"Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce did not fly with us to Charlotte. With Ray Allen out tonight as well, welcome to the No Big Three Era. Stiemsma and Pietrus will start with Rondo, Bradley and Bass. Doc on leaving Pierce/Garnett in New York: "I had already told Kevin he wasn’t going to Charlotte..Paul was impromptu off the foot injury.”
Smart move on Doc's part. 3 games in 3 days is just too much for KG and Pierce. Celtics should still be able to win tonight (despite having to play Ryan Hollins).
