Bass with Celtics in Cleveland, JO stays home in Boston

CSNNE.com reporter Sherrod Blakely tweeted earlier that he was joined on his flight to Cleveland by Brandon Bass, Mickael Pietrus, and Marquis Daniels. I inquired whether Bass will be playing in Tuesday night's Celtics-Cavs game, but he didn't respond. Either way, I think it's a good sign that Bass is traveling with the team, and hopefully he will be able to play.

However, Jermaine O'Neal stayed behind in Boston to have his hand examined by a specialist. No mention of Chris Wilcox, so it's unclear whether he will still be out with his groin injury. I am sure there will be injury updates closer to tip-off and we can get a feel for who is in and who is out for the Celtics' first game back after the All-Star break.
