The Celtics had control of the game from the start, hovering around a 10 point lead for most of the first half before pulling away after half time. They led by as much as 27, ending the game with a 96-73 victory.
Rajon Rondo led all scorers with 21 points but a career low two assists. Kevin Garnett added 15 points and seven rebounds. Brandon Bass had 13 points and 9 boards off the bench and continues to be one of the Celtics' best and most consistent players. Mickael Pietrus had 12 points, nailing 4-of-7 from three-point range.
The Raptors were led in scoring by Umass alum, Gary Forbes, who had 18 points off the bench.
The win snaps a five game losing streak for the Celtics who improve to 5-8. The Raptors lose their sixth straight and fall to 4-11.
