Rondo Hosting Charity Game in Cambridge on Saturday

Doesn't take the sting out of today's unsettling NBA news, but this is very cool. Leon Powe and Kendrick Perkins back in Boston. Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce recruiting Kevin Durant, Josh Smith, and Rudy Gay. Boston's first chance to see JaJuan Johnson in action. Marquis Daniels back from his neck surgery. A chance to show love to Celtics free agents Glen Davis and Jeff Green and a homecoming for former Crimson guard Jeremy Lin. Ok, I think I got everyone... oh yeah and Kyle Lowry gets to get schooled by Rondo. Now someone throw me $100 please. I want courtside seats.

Boston Globe
Just hours after the NBA Players Association decided to disband, Celtics guard Rajon Rondo announced the "Boston Charity Classic" all-star game at 6 p.m. Saturday at Lavietes Pavilion on Harvard's campus. Proceeds, according to the press release, will aid local Boston charities in providing meals for the holiday season.

Tickets will be available on Tuesday at the Harvard Athletics Box office or by phone (617 495 2211). General admission tickets are $50 and courtside is $100
