Afternoon Delight: Lockout Results in Changes

We are all familiar with the stories like Delonte working at a furniture store or tweeting that he needs life insurance. Or, the stories about Pierce, Rondo and Perk looking to play overseas. As the lockout drags on, there will be more and more stories about the financial hardships facing the locked out players.

With the players all scrambling to find new jobs and ways to fee their families, the NBA is changing their logo. Instead of the iconic silhouette of Jerry West, the logo will now feature a player with a sign saying Will Work for Food. Sad times indeed as the play goes from on the court to in the courts.
