Antoine Walker may be taking his talents to Poland
According to some reports in the Polish press, former Boston Celtic Antoine Walker is looking for a job in Poland. The three time All Star has indeed received several offers from TBL (Polish Basketball League) squads, being linked in particular with Sląsk Wrocław team. Details of the contract offer haven't been disclosed, but it would more than likely guarantee him more money that what he would perceive if he decided to continue playing for the Development League in the US.
If Toine finally accepts Wrocław's offer he would become the second former Celtic to play in the Polish competition this year, joining Oliver Lafayette who is a member of powerhouse Asseco Prokom Gdynia.
Sląsk Wrocław got their first win of the recently started season against AZS Politechnika Warszawska yesterday (78-63).
