"I was just with Shaq, we were just working out down in Waltham," Ainge told WEEI. "Shaq is either going to play Sunday or Tuesday. ... 'Bleed into the playoffs' I think is something different than he's not going to play until the playoffs. But it looks like he's ready to go Sunday or Tuesday."
So, I guess Shaq will be back before the playoffs. The more time the two O'Neals are both suiting up together the better. Though, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Shaq isn't playing on the aforementioned days.
